The company has Contract Sales in almost all European countries, we have Direct Sales in many countries and Office Depot has five strategic partnerships. We have retail activities (stores) in France, Hungary, Israel and Sweden. The corporate headquarters of Office Depot Europe is located in Venlo, the Netherlands.
Buy and Supply
In the Corporate European organization Buy and Supply is in charge of the procurement of goods and services, both trade and non-trade. Also everything around the process of vendor selection and management is done by this department. And last but not least to manage and develop the supply chain is done by the people of Buy and Supply.
Marketing and Merchandising
The strategic and tactical marketing, including the brand guidance and merchandising is handled by this department. Marketing and Merchandising also are in charge of the business intelligence, value propositions, product development, pricing strategy and category management. Also touch point optimization and catalogue build is operated by this department.
Franchise Operations and Sales Support
Franchise Operations, New Markets and Sales Support is the official name of this department. It is responsible for the development of the franchise market in Europe. They will take the lead I the development of new markets and furthermore this department is owner of all the sales processes. Also analysis and reporting is done by members of this team.
